Our Latent Defect Survey is designed for homeowners who have purchased a property within the last 10 years and hold a 10-year structural warranty. A Building Survey (RICS Level 3) is the most detailed inspection available. It provides an in-depth assessment of the property’s structure, condition, and defects, along with repair advice and estimated costs.

If you’re buying an older, larger, unusual, or altered property—or one with visible issues—a Building Survey is recommended. It goes further than a Level 2 Homebuyer Report by assessing structural integrity in greater depth.
